'Real world get-togethers in the age of the Internet? How quaint…'

Come together?

In an inter-connected world, it's easy to get disconnected.

I mean… Facebook's fine, Twitter's ok, and internet forums have their strengths, but sometimes there's no beating a meet-up—whether it be to thrash-out a deal or simply hang-loose over coffee & cake.

And that's what we're talking about here.

Think of it as a 'local-global hook-up', or something like that.

Business or pleasure?

If we were clever we'd have a snappy little tagline like 'This is where we meet for personal enjoyment and business growth, through locally-organized formal and informal rendezvous.'

Big-small, short-long, often-rare, formal-casual, strangers become friends… etcetera. Local gatherings can be a great way to become personally acquainted with others.

So yeah, why not business and pleasure?

Soon, not yet.

There's a bunch of work to be done before this is anything like ready to be public, let's not get too carried away.

It'll be awhile yet before we're rolling-out the clichés like 'Connecting Enterprise Women', and 'look out for meetups near you!'.

Come, build.

If you're interested in starting/co-ordinating a local group, contact us and let's get on with it.

It'll require a moderately-small financial investment, of course. And some of your time and attention.

In exchange, you'll get business-building attention and financial/other rewards.
